The book recounts key moments surrounding the Kuala Lumpur al-Qaeda meeting, the FBI's investigation into the USS Cole bombing, and the handling of intelligence by the CIA and FBI Headquarters ITOS unit.
Schopmeyer found from the official US government reports on 9/11, that if just the information the CIA and FBI HQ already had, had been shared with the FBI Cole bombing investigators in time, particularly the facts that two al Qaeda terrorists Kalid al Mihdhar and Nawaf al-Hazmi were inside the US to take part in a massive attack and they had taken part in planning the Cole bombing, the attacks on 9/11 could have been prevented.
While people at these two agencies had been hiding this information from January 4, 2001, when Walid bin Attach was identified with Mihdhar and Hazmi planning the Cole bombing, they were clearly aware when these two terrorists were found to be inside the US on August 22, 2001, three weeks prior to 9/11, that continuing to withhold this information from the Cole investigators would keep them from having the required “probable cause” they needed to start any investigation for these terrorists, and prevent them from stopping the attacks that took place on 9/11.
Since both agencies knew exactly what flights these terrorists had entered the US on, with that information, the Cole investigators could have gotten their credit card numbers and quickly located all ten terrorists whose tickets were purchased with these cards.
However, these agencies did not give this information to these investigators until September 13, 2001, two days after 9/11.
These agencies have never explained the reasons why they deliberately withheld this information until after these attacks had taken place when they clearly knew their direct actions in withholding this information, would result in the murder of thousands of Americans, nor have any of the official US government reports on 9/11, or even mainstream media and is only explained in detail in this one single book “The Secrets of 9/11: Why the CIA and FBI HQ Allowed the Attacks on 9/11,” now on Amazon.
